Nashville, Tenn. (Nov. 20, 2014) - With more than one million career albums sold, Tenth Avenue North continues to establish itself as one of Christian music's top acts, with the #1 charting of its highly-anticipated fourth studio project, Cathedrals. The album debuted at #1 this week on both iTunes (#14 overall) and Billboard's Top Christian Albums Charts and landed at #32 on the Billboard Top 200. The first single, "No Man Is An Island," maintains momentum at Christian radio, climbing into the Top 10 on the National Audience, AC Monitored and CHR charts. The song is currently in rotation, impacting key networks nationwide with continued adds on K-LOVE/Air 1, The Fish and SiriusXM, among others.

In support of its new release, Tenth Avenue North embarked on a special Fan Tour for street week, which kicked-off with the live "Campout to Cathedrals" event. The online interactive video chat featured the band's countdown to the midnight release of the new record as they took questions from fans, played songs, and received more than 2,000 comments during the session. The band then made exclusive stops in Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, Indianapolis and Chicago, surprising excited fans all over the country with a high school and college campus live performance and even showing up to a family's home with pizza. While on the road, Tenth Avenue North made phone and Skype calls directly to fans that included singing the their favorite songs and thanking them for their continued support.

Produced by John Fields, known for his work with Switchfoot, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Pink, Cathedrals is a collection of well-crafted songs that inspires community, encourages accountability, and celebrates the fact we are not alone.

The group made its national debut in 2008 on Reunion Records with Over And Underneath, which spawned the hits "Love is Here," "By Your Side" and "Hold My Heart." Tenth Avenue North won the Gospel Music Association Dove Award in 2009 for New Artist of the Year, and in 2010, "By Your Side" was named Song of the Year. The band gained further momentum with 2010's The Light Meets the Dark and 2012's The Struggle, which continue to populate radio and the church with such memorable songs as "Healing Begins," "You Are More," "Losing" and "Worn."

Lead singer Mike Donehey, drummer Jason Jamison, guitarist Jeff Owen, bassist Ruben Juarez, and keyboardist Brendon Shirley have forged the unique sound of Tenth Avenue North.

The group is currently on its national Cathedrals headline tour circuit through December 5, 2014.
